Yubikey for WordPress, Roundcube and Linux

It is increasingly difficult to keep your password secret these days.  Even a long and complex password cannot offer any protection when websites store your password in plain-text and get hacked.  Yahoo is a recent example where lots of passwords where published.  Some people say passwords are outdated and new authentication methods are required.  The use of one-time passwords can solve a part of the problem.  This article is about the Yubikey, a one-time password (OTP) solution available on a USB token.  With Yubikey it is possible to enable two-factor authentication; your usual username and password along with a one-time password.  I will discuss the Yubikey and the integration in WordPress, Roundcube and Linux using the YubiCloud.  If you want to learn more about the Yubikey and YubiCloud, read on.
